Arsenal are edging closer to signing Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after bringing in Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

GENERATION NEWSPAPER understands terms have been agreed with Aubameyang, who is determined to force through the move after he was banished from the team for disciplinary reasons at the weekend.

The forward has told Dortmund there is no coming back from the incident which saw him miss their goalless draw with Wolfsburg on Sunday, his third internal suspension in just over 12 months.

And he looks poised to complete a £60million move over this week and the Gabon international could make his debut at Swansea on Tuesday.

Arsenal have already completed a deal for Mkhitaryan with Alexis Sanchez heading to Manchester United.

But how exactly would the new recruits fit in at Arsenal with the current crop of players?

5-4-1

Aubameyang’s arrival could see summer signing Alexandre Lacazette, who has not scored one goal in his last ten appearances, dropped to the bench.

The Gabonese forward could play up front on his own with Mesut Ozil and Mkhitrayan sitting behind him, cutting in from the right and left respectively.
